Childminders
Childminders are registered and inspected by Ofsted. They care for children from birth upwards in their own home. Childminders will have completed a six month part-time training course before starting work.
They may offer flexible opening hours including weekends and evenings. Meals are often provided and they may offer a drop off/ collection service at schools and other childcare settings.
