Avion Tuesday Club

We are a mental health and social support group for people who have varying degrees of mental illness and are in need of company. We have a friendly relaxed atmosphere and provide a listening ear for everyone.

We are open to all mental health service users and ex-service users. Are age range is from 18 to 80.

The group was set up by volunteers and it is managed by volunteers.

If you want to bring along a carer or a friend for support, they will be very welcome to the group. Previous members can just turn up. Group activities include: poetry reading; board games; table tennis. We have occassional quizs and sometimes play bowls outside in Summer. Or just come along and chat.

Professionals can attend to find out more about the group, but please phone ahead and arrange this first.

Tea, coffee, juices and biscuits are available.
