Tettenhall Gardening Club

Tettenhall Gardening Club is run by a committee of dedicated volunteers. The society was formed in 1915 to promote the cultivation and enjoyment of flowers, fruit and vegetables within Tettenhall and its surrounding districts. We are one of the oldest gardening societies in Wolverhampton and the largest society in the Staffordshire Guild.

We run the popular Trading Hut at Nursery Walk allotments where a good range of low cost gardening supplies is on hand. In addition we host a series of talks and trips throughout the year and run the annual Tettenhall Horticultural Show.

The Hut has compost, canes, fertilisers, pots, watering cans, netting and fleece by the metre, bone meal and grow more by weight, pelleted chicken manure, oasis, hanging basket chains, tools, and much more! In the autumn we take seed orders with Suttons and are able to pass on a considerable discount to our members.

On the last Friday of every month we hold a talk, usually at the Tettenhall Wood Institute. We also organise a visit to a local garden for members every summer and full membership allows discounts at some local garden centres.

To become a member visit the Trading Hut in Nursery Walk, Tettenhall and sign up. If you need further information please contact us using the form on our Tettenhall Gardening Club website

We also have a Tettenhall Gardening Club Facebook Page which we keep updated.

We look forward to welcoming you to our club.
