Next Step West Midlands CIC

Next Steps West Midlands is a Community Interest Company (CIC) we provide services for those with learning disabilities and profound and multiple disabilities, for those who are 16+ and we also provide a buddy service which can a one -one service if prefered

We offer activities that support independent living and encourage peer mentoring, our aim is to enhance confidence, communication and awareness. We support individuals to speak for themselves and have a voice and encourage self-advocacy, we also offer support and guidance for parent’s carers and attendees. Our services are available to people 16+ who have profound or multiple disabilities.

We believe that disabled people should have the same opportunities as their non - disabled peers. Activities include a range of life skills, art and craft, sports and fitness, cooking, computer skills, sensory activities, off site activities and social and recreation evenings. We have incorporated swimming as part of our activities and this has been taken up by those who use our Buddy service.

Our activities take place on the following days and times:

  • Fallings Park Methodist Church (Tuesday 6.15pm to 9.15pm)
  • Brickkiln Community Centre     (Thursday 6.15pm to 9.15pm)

There are two useful documents contained in the 'useful documents' section of this page which explain a little more about our service. We are also offering a voucher for three free taster sessions, if you require any further information please contact Di who will be able to assist and answer any queries you may have.
