Good Shepherd Ministry - Dining service and Family food parcels

The Good Shepherd Ministry is a small charity led by the Brothers of St John of God. Our centre in Wolverhampton operates six days a week to meet the needs of those we serve.

We serve hot meals during our dining service four days a week where our clients can come in to the centre in the warm and enjoy a hot, freshly cooked meal, this takes place on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday between 12 and 2 oclock. We offer a take away service on a Tuesday and Friday at 12 oclock and give out family food parcels on a Tuesday at 12 oclock.

The Good Shepherd prides itself on making help available to all who need it – no questions asked or strings attached. Unlike many food banks, no referral is needed to access our family food parcels which enable those who need the help to access it directly and quickly, removing the need to visit other agencies for referral first.

We are able to provide food by working alongside various partners which not only enables us prepare good food with fresh ingredients  but also tackles a wider issue of food waste.
