Takayuki Judo Club

Takayuki Judo Club is based at Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy, it was founded on 26 September 2012. The club ethos is to provide an environment for students and the community to enhance their educational development through sport. With this in mind, the Judo club is offered to anyone who wants to take part in the opportunity to try this demanding but rewarding sport. Judo’s ethos is to enhance each student to their full potential by engaging and following the Judo moral code of conduct. They are Respect, Self-Respect, Hygiene, Courtesy, Courage, Fair play, Honour, Modesty, Friendship.

The vision for the success of the club is to enhance and help make each student realise that education within sport is as vital as the sport itself. This has had a positive effect on the students, who have not only begun to achieve within Judo but also raising their academic levels in school.

To become a member or join in on one of the training sessions, you can come along on a Monday or Thursday from 15:30 hrs until 17:30 hrs. Cost is £2 and all monies go towards the club’s future plans.
