If you need help in getting around Wolverhampton City Centre - Shopmobility may be able to help.
Shopmobility provides manual and powered wheelchairs and scooters to help people with limited mobility shop and use city centre facilities. Shopmobility can be used by young or old, and whether a disability is temporary or permanent.
In addition, a holiday loan service is available - manual wheelchairs can be loaned for a period of up to three weeks.
To use the service customers must:
First register and undergo an induction, through a pre-booked appointment. This process will ensure that you are matched with the correct mobility equipment.
Bring two forms of identification with them - one must have your photograph on it and the other must show your current address. A valid driving license; Blue Badge; passport and utility bills are acceptable forms of ID.
You must also provide two passport pictures.
