Support Plus

Support Plus, based at (A4i) Action for Independance, Albert Road, and Brickkiln Community Centre, Cherry St, with many other service users attending community venues across the City.

We are a Day service for Adults with a profound and multiple learning disabilities who require high support needs. We also support people with physical disabilities to maintain and develop their quality of life. We provide a wide range of day opportunities whilst supporting people to access their local and wider community.

Our aim is to enable people to be part of the local and wider community whilst supporting people to take part in activities in a safe and fulfilling environment. Our service allows respite for carers during the day and ensures that individuals have a fulfilling time when attending by taking part in activities such as Drama, Artwork, communication skills, gardening, cooking, IT, community awareness as well as sensory awareness. Our specially trained staff can speak a number of languages and can communicate using sign language.
