The Switch Project

The Switch Project nurtures young people’s emotional and social development through early intervention, mentoring and support.

From our centre in Wolverhampton we have worked with young people in West Midlands schools, communities and other organisations for 10 years, offering support to those considered vulnerable to educational disengagement or are struggling to cope in school. Our aim is to provide a positive, supportive environment in which young people can gain new coping skills, build confidence in themselves and others, whilst ultimately returning back into mainstream education.

With our experience we have developed a range of therapeutic approaches which are aimed at enabling young people to increase social-emotional learning, improve attendance and help them to thrive, flourish and become happier within the school environment.

Our staff are ‘National Specialist Leaders in Behaviour and Attendance,’ as well as having teaching and learning, safeguarding, first aid and professional arts qualifications, plus Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks. We also complete the Wolverhampton City Council Quality Assurance and Compliance regulatory checks.

Please contact our office team on (01902) 552 288 or email info@theswitchproject.com for more details about the availability of places on our daily inclusion programmes.
