Urgent Care - Phoenix Health Centre

The Walk-in Centre, based at the Phoenix Health Centre, is run by nurses offering on-the-spot treatment (without an appointment) and advice for minor health problems, illness, ailments and injuries.

The process is simple, register your attendance at the reception desk, stating you are there to see a member of the Walk-in Centre staff and you will be advised of what will happen next in your patient journey and, if appropriate, seen by a healthcare professional.

The staff have access to many services within the hospital and community, including the Accident and Emergency (A&E). This means that you will receive the best possible treatment and advice from the most appropriate member of staff

At the Phoenix Walk-in Centre most patients are seen and treated within two hours; much quicker than the average wait in Accident and Emergency (A&E) departments.
