Eastfield Nursery is a maintained Nursery School providing funded early education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

Eastfield Nursery School is passionate about providing high quality early education that gives children a strong foundation for future learning. An experienced, skilled team of Teachers and Early Years Educators ensure children have an excellent start to their education providing children with rich learning opportunities.

As a Local Authority maintained nursery school we provide early education for children aged 3-4 years old.  We also offer Terrific for Twos provision for children aged two. The Nursery school is proud to have been rated ‘Outstanding ‘by Ofsted at its last four inspections the most recent in November 2017.

Our vision is:

  • To provide outstanding practice which provides best outcomes for children.

  • To provide an exciting, stimulating environment that promotes independent learning.

  • To provide experiences that enable children to take risks with their learning, developing confidence, self-esteem and a love for learning.

  • To provide a holistic approach to learning where all children have the opportunity to reach their full potential regardless of ability or need.

  • To build relationships with parents and the community recognising that education is a shared role.

  • To be an extended family where everyone is special, unique and important where they are treated with care and respect.

We offer funded part-time places and 30 hour places for eligible families. Parents can choose from morning or afternoon sessions. We have intakes into our Terrific for Twos and Nursery classes in September, January and April.

We welcome visits from prospective parents.
