Prostate Cancer UK

Prostate Cancer UK has invested millions of pounds into research, services and awareness over the last 10 years. It’s the reason we provide services to men and their families like our Specialist Nurses, one-to-one support and information leaflets. It’s why we’re leading the way in providing prostate education to medical professionals. It’s why we don’t take no for an answer when it comes to fighting our campaigns.

Our specialist nurses offer up-to-date, reliable and balanced information on all aspects of prostate disease. We are expanding our services across the UK to make sure more men living with prostate cancer have access to the care and support they need.

In several regions, we have a community specialist nurse who works with individuals, local communities and health professionals to raise awareness of prostate cancer and support men and their families.

Please visit the national Prostate Cancer UK website shown on the website link below.

Please also see the list of support groups for Cancer Services in the City which is attached on the right hand side of this page under the useful documents section and information below about local provision in the City.

Wolverhampton Prostate Cancer Support Group

The group meets every 6-7 weeks at the Fordhouses Community Centre, Marsh Lane, Wolverhampton WV10 6SE.

At each meeting we have presentations by health professionals about diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. It is an opportunity to meet other fellow patients, carers and their relatives. Set in a befriending environment, cancer information materials are issued and signposted to local care providers.

If you are interested in this group please contact Clare Waymont on 01902 694467 (Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm)
