Wolverhampton Ramblers

If you live in Wolverhampton or the surrounding area and are interested in Walks/ Rambles/ Rambling/ Walking and helping to preserve and extend the National Footpath network, we are the Group for you.

The Ramblers (Ramblers’ Association) is Britain's biggest walking charity, working for 70 years to promote walking and to improve conditions for everyone who walks in England, Scotland and Wales. The Wolverhampton Group is one of 500+ Ramblers local Groups.

We organise led walks (rambles) on most Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year, varying in distance from around 5 to 18 miles. The starting points for the walks are usually within easy driving distance of Wolverhampton; we encourage car-sharing, and lifts can be arranged if you do not have access to a car. We have evening walks on Wednesdays, during the summer months, of around 5 miles, which usually start and finish at a pub, fairly near to Wolverhampton.

We also organise Social Events and weekends further away and walking holidays in the UK and abroad.
