Aspire Community Academy CIC

Aspire Community Academy CIC was set up in 2023 primarily to provide community services to local children, adults, and families.

We deliver service led sporting, educational and creative activities in several community hubs and leisure centres in the city. Aspire is a community interest company, at our core, we seek to get people thinking and acting to improve their physical and mental state. We want our service users to embrace fitness and well-being as a way of life, and along the way, make friends, form better relationships, stay focused in schools, remain positive, avoid gang-culture indoctrination, be better citizens and tomorrow’s role model's through our specialist mentoring, fitness and leadership programmes.

Our team of dedicated volunteers and professionals put on a range of activities including martial arts, aikido, Boxercise, kickercise, self-defence, volleyball, basketball, badminton, yoga, and other sports including multipurpose X-Fit Ccasses. We also deliver creative arts classes, dance and the HAF scheme in the graiseley and Blakenhall ward of the city. In addition, we work with partner agencies across the city to set up homework and after-school clubs.
