Goodlife is an independent, not for profit organisation operating across the Black Country, bringing real opportunity for people living with disability to shape their lives, plan their futures and contribute to community life. Our values of independence, inclusion and creativity define the way we work with and wish to promote in others.
We work with individuals and their families, organisations, and communities. Since 2016 we have developed a range of collaborative projects with local organisations mainly for people who have learning disabilities and autism focused on employment, self-determination, listening and creativity, all with the aim of increasing people’s inclusion in their local community.
We are currently working with Mencap in Wolverhampton to develop a Centre for Inclusion, and in Dudley with Artworks for Change and local heritage and employment projects to create Workshop 24 offering marginalised people access to a range of contemporary art courses and projects.
With support from the Polack Family Trust to develop the organisation we have received financial support from Wolverhampton Mencap, the Big Lottery, the European Social Fund, Skills Funding Agency and Walsall Council for individual projects.
