Disability Resource Centre

The Disability Resource Centre is one of the leading disability organisations operating in Birmingham, Solihull and the wider West Midlands. Since its inception in 1992, the DRC has helped and supported in excess of 70,000 disabled people, their carers and families. Our mission is to support disabled people to take control of their own lives and to actively seek out opportunities to achieve their full potential as individuals in mainstream society.

The Disability Resource Centre provides a wide variety of services for disabled people and their support networks. These include:

  • Information, Advice and Advocacy
  • Debt Advice Service
  • Managing Your Condition
  • Counselling
  • Social and Leisure Activities
  • Employment Preparation
  • Volunteering  Services
  • Services for business and organisations
  • Assistance with products and services

We also operate a Information, Health and Wellbeing Centre. This is based at:
