Compton Day Therapies

There is a wide range of support available to you at the Compton Day Therapies Centre. Set in the heart of our beautiful Compton Hall grounds, a visit to the centre means you can access our expert clinical and supportive care services whilst also enjoying a series of therapeutic activities.

Practical support from an expert team
Our doctors and clinical nurse specialists are available to speak with about any queries or concerns you may have and can offer support with symptom control. Appointments with members of our Physiotherapy team can be arranged, and our social workers are available to help you with any practical matters. Our healthcare assistants are also on hand throughout the day to assist you and make you feel at ease.

Time to talk and emotional support
Whether it’s a relaxed informal chat with your fellow attendees, talking with a member of our spiritual care team or a one-to-one session with one of our counsellors – the entire Compton care team are on hand  to listen, without judgement.

Opportunity to socialise
The chance to talk with others in similar circumstances, as well as interact with the many visitors and the wider Compton care team, for many is the highlight of a visit to the centre.

Chance to unwind
Whilst visiting the centre you may wish to try a complementary therapy treatment such as reiki, aromatherapy, reflexology or Indian head massage. These types of treatments have been known to help reduce feelings of anxiety and are a great way to unwind. There’s also the opportunity to visit our on-site salon should you feel like being pampered.
