Wolverhampton Outreach Service - Resources and Home Learning

Welcome to the Wolverhampton Outreach Team's Home Learning Page. Here you will find advice on how to support your child with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND)  in learning at home.

Although this is a difficult time for children and parents alike, for children with SEND this is also a great opportunity. Many children with SEND find the challenge of the normal curriculum and the business of a typical school day quite overwhelming. Learning at home can be a great way to escape from this, instead exploring your child's real strengths and really giving them the opportunity to shine. Rather than beginning with 'Age Related Expectations', it is a chance to focus on what your child already knows and to build up from there, exploring together what excites and intrigues them and letting their imagination and curiosity lead their learning.

We hope that you find helpful resources that support you in structuring your day, planning interesting learning opportunities and making the most of your time learning together. Have fun!"
