Sunshine Club

We are a community focused group of women aiming to reduce isolation, loneliness and encourage the building of friendships between people over the ages of 50 within the Ettingshall community - we meet on Wednesday afternoons at 1pm till 3:30pm

Service users can share their skills, expertise and knowledge in sewing, knitting, sugar/cake craft and crafts in general. Materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring along your own projects. Everyone is welcome to attend.

It is aimed at women who have an interest in sewing, knitting and crafts. Refreshments of tea/coffee, biscuits are available and there is a small joining fee. The group are looking to expand their provision with other activities. Information and opportunities about  external trips in the surrounding area, meeting up for lunch and other social event are available. Seasonal events also take place.

Our venue has full wheelchair/disabled access. Easy transport links via Priestfield tram stop, park and ride.

The venue is wheelchair and disability friendly.  There is a kitchen table and chairs. This venue is also used by the community police for the local area of ettingshall.
