COMMON GROUND - Tackling loneliness - Creating friendships

Common Ground is a community connecting project aimed at tackling youth loneliness which will support young disabled people to develop friendships with their non - disabled peers.

Do you want to be part of a project that aims to encourage friendships between young disabled and non-disabled people?

Changing Our Lives is looking for young disabled people and their families and young non-disabled people who would like to be part of projects that are designed to foster new understanding and connections through a common goal, out of which friendships will naturally develop.

At the end of the Common Ground project we will be celebrating everyone’s achievements and successes and also share and reflect on what we have learned. We will work alongside the young people and families involved to develop this event and be joined on the day by a range of other people including all those we have worked with, strategic leads, schools, families and friends.
