People of Wolverhampton, will have the opportunity to put their questions to experts and find out a little more about dementia at the Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Community Roadshow.
Date: Thursday 13th July 2017
Venue: Queen Square, Wolverhampton, WV1 1TE (near the Man on the Horse Statue)
Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Our main focus is to answer any questions or concerns about dementia as well as provide information, advice and support available within the Wolverhampton area. We will be able to utilise this event to raise awareness of the Dementia Action Alliance (with a view to try and recruit new members) as well as discussing volunteering and fundraising opportunities.
The roadshow provides you with the opportunity of meeting the local team, so do please pop in and see us.
The aim of the event is to increase local awareness and understanding of the condition which affects. It will offer free information and advice to anyone with queries about the condition, as well as helping to promote the benefits of an early diagnosis.
It is also open to people currently living with dementia, who are worried about a friend or relative’s memory or who just have questions about the condition. No appointment is needed.
