Wolves Women's Day 2020 - Lotus Sanctuary


Local non-profit Lotus Sanctuary CIC are hosting a fundraising event on Sunday 8th March 2020, which will be attended by the Mayor of Wolverhampton and other celebrities.

Wolves Women’s Day 2020 will take place on International Women’s Day at the Light House building complex to support homeless women across the Black Country.

Entry to the event is FREE, but you are welcome to donate using the collection buckets.

The workshop program caters to the whole family and includes: children’s yoga, arts and crafts, street dance, drumming, meditation and storytelling for children, among others.

Talks also span a wide range of topics aiming to support people on every stage of their journey, including: managing anxiety, recovery from addiction, health & fitness, plant-based cooking, managing IBS, navigating the menopause & more.  

Throughout the day there will be a number of women led businesses and charities showcased via stalls situated in the courtyard area. There will also be live music throughout the day from local female musicians, a raffle and magazine launch.

A full timetable of workshops will be published closer to the date, with more info posted on each workshop in the lead up to the event.
