Joint Strategic Needs Assessment

Here you can find more information on the joint strategic needs assessment.

Following the reform to the Government’s Children and Families Act (2014) and introduction of the ‘special educational needs and disability (SEND) code of practice: 0 to 25 years’ (2015) is transforming the way children and young people with SEND receive services across education, health and social care.

In Wolverhampton, SEND is a key priority for joint commissioning between the local authority and the clinical commissioning group (CCG).

Further details can be found in the downloads section of this page. The assessment aims to collate and analyse national and local information and data to develop a comprehensive picture of education, health and social care needs of children and young people with SEND in Wolverhampton.

Please view the video which shows the key SEND JSNA messages.
