SEND - Care: Where can I find out about support services? Home Start Wolverhampton

Home-Start Wolverhampton

Many parents need help, friendship, advice and support during those early years when children are young. If you have one child under five then we can help.

Home-Start Wolverhampton Coordinators recruit and train parent volunteers to offer support and friendship to other parents through home visiting. They will then visit you in your home, usually once a week. You decide what you do together.

Maybe you need someone to talk to who won't judge you; a shoulder to cry on perhaps someone to read to your children; maybe a bit of support to make or keep medical appointments or to find out what else is available locally. You decide.

We operate a waiting list when necessary but aim to match a volunteer with every family as soon as a suitable match can be made between the family's needs and the volunteer's skills and experiences.
