Driving and using public transport if you have mobility issues

NHS choices

Do you experience problems with your mobility, do you need help on a day to day basis?

Although mobility problems make it harder to get around, transport has been getting more accessible for disabled and elderly people over the years. NHS Choices has produced a very good information page on their website which covers most means of transport including Mobility equipment, wheelchairs, scooters and Blue Badge schemes.

There is also links to a number of agencies and guides on how to use public transport as well as features which state how you can get help from the NHS with your travel costs.

Here you will find out more information on getting around, driving and using public transport if you have a disability.
