Orchard House Nursing Home

Orchard House is a care home providing accommodation, personal and nursing care to 72 people with mental ill health and dementia. Our philosophy is to put people at the centre of their care, and help them to live well within their illness.

The home is privately owned and is situated in a residential area two miles from Wolverhampton City Centre. Local shops and amenities are a short walk away. The property is a large Victorian house and provides a variety of communal areas with single bedrooms. There is a passenger lift to access the first floor.

Our latest CQC inspection report can be viewed at the bottom of this page.

We have recently set up Mind Matters - a Dementia health drop in Cafe.

Orchard House is a mental health nursing home that takes residents with different mental health issues. We felt that although there are many dementia café’s out there, what was lacking was a service that encompassed all mental health issues and dementia. So, we are launching Mind Matters as a drop-in service for those wanting to meet new people, to get information and to allow relatives and carers to have some positive support. As lone carers, as well as those in large companies can feel isolated or have no one to talk to.

The hope is for the café to run monthly on a Thursday and to have information and other relating resources for visitors.

For further information about any aspect of our service please get in touch with us. We have attached a leaflet about our service this can be found in the downloads section of this page.
