West Park Audiology Services remain OPEN throughout the COVID19 pandemic.
The Audiology service at West Park Hospital provides a wide range of diagnostic hearing tests for Adults.
Please note this service is available by Appointment Only.
The focus of the service is on complex hearing loss and we are not commissioned to provide hearing aid services for non-complex age related hearing loss.
Hearing aids are provided to those patients with complex hearing loss requiring them and provide on-going review and repair of these devices.
Other services provided include tinnitus, balance testing and rehabilitation, including relaxation therapy. We have a Bone Anchored Hearing Aid service providing assessment, fitting, review and repair of these devices.
We operate a drop off service for faulty hearing aids. These are usually dealt with within 48 hours.
The Audiology service also support ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) consultants and in addition also Balance testing at New Cross Hospital and Cannock Chase Hospital.

Notes
Due to the COVID19 Pandemic we request that patients attend appointments on their own. We realise that this is not always possible, and will accomodate cares for patients with dementia, however for most patients due to social distancing and limited room sizes carers and significant others must wait outside, where there is a purpose built shelter.

Referral Details
All referrals must be made by a Medical Professional / General Practitioner (GP).
We accept direct referrals for hearing, tinnitus and balance (BPPV) issues excluding non complex age related hearing loss with no assosciated complex problems.
