Teenage Cancer Trust

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through the toughest times they may have faced. We’re the only UK charity meeting this vital need.

We create world-class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don’t have to face cancer alone. We know that having cancer at a young age comes with its own particular set of challenges. Our services put the needs of young people first and allow them to face those challenges together. Every year our dedicated education team visit 100s of schools and colleges to raise awareness of cancer and empower young people to take responsibility for their own health.

When a young person is diagnosed with cancer, their family needs support too. Teenage Cancer Trust’s Family Support gives parents, siblings and wider family and friends the chance to meet others who understand their situation at every stage of the cancer journey and beyond.

Teenage Cancer Trust needs your support as it helps us to transform the lives of young people through our units in hospitals, expert nurses and youth support workers and other help for teenagers and young adults facing cancer. For further information about how we can support and our service please contact us or visit our website via the link below.
