Council for Disabled Children (CDC)

The Council for Disabled Children (CDC) is the umbrella body for the disabled children's sector in England, with links to other UK nations. We are the only national body that brings together the diverse range of organisations that work with and for disabled children to support the development and implementation of policy and practice. Our work impacts on over 800,000 disabled children and their families.

We believe that:

  • Disabled children and young people should enjoy the same rights and opportunities as other children
  • All disabled children and young people communicate and have a right to have their views heard
  • The views of disabled children, young people and their families are vital to the development of an inclusive society
  • All disabled children and young people should be fully included in every aspect of society

You can get in touch with us online, by phone, post, or in person.
