- With over 3,500 14-19 year olds, 5,000 adults and 2,000 apprentices, we aim to support our customers with the highest quality education, skills development and training programmes, which are focused on the needs of a modern economy.
- Courses from foundation level up to degree are available for school leavers, adults returning to learning or enhancing their careers, the long term unemployed and those hardest to reach who need bespoke interventions, and employers requiring business training solutions.
- Our links with partners locally, regionally and nationally are strong and we work with over 1,000 employers. The College has grown its Apprenticeship provision by 74% since 2013, making it one of the West Midland’s biggest providers of Apprenticeships, delivering occupational specific training throughout the borough and beyond.
- Work experience is a key component of our programmes. Students are encouraged to undertake work experience or some form of work-related training wherever possible. We work with a range of employers to deliver high quality industry placements, masterclasses and lectures that encourage Walsall College graduates to develop the attributes of being skilled, professional and enterprising.
