Beacon Centre

Beacon Centre for the Blind is based in the West Midlands, supporting up to 3,000 people affected by sight loss to live fuller, more independent lives.

We can help you to develop skills to build a level of independence tailored to your need and individual sight loss journey through a range of services including IT training, Low Vision advice, activity sessions at our adapted centre and out in the community, health and wellbeing, employment support and social care. 

We can also help you to improve your digital skills, providing access to assisted technology devices as well as training and support to build confidence. Our Talking News Service can also help you stay updated with the latest news, sport and entertainment from across the area. Our door-to-door transport service can help you connect with your community and family and friends.
