The Museum of Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire
The Museum of Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire
The Museum of Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire is a charity set up to tell the story of Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire and ultimately to find a permanent home in which to do this.
As we work towards our ultimate aim of a museum, we will tell our story through a variety of methods:
Talks, Presentations and Other Events
Collecting, Preserving and Cataloguing Items that relate to the history of the area
Displaying items that relate to the history of the area via exhibitions and fairs
We also go out "on the road", with events in 2023 taking place in Castlecroft, Tettenhall, Wombourne and Bishopswood.
We are always looking for people to help, or simply to tell people about the great area we are from. If this sounds like something you're interested in, please get in touch via the contact details below, or come along to one of our events - we always love to see new faces. Further information can be found on our website.
Our usual venue of Penn URC has free parking, but space is somewhat limited and thus car sharing is extremely helpful if at all possible. The venue is served by a regular bus route, the number 16 to/from Stourbridge.
Tea, coffee and cake are available at the venue for a small charge. Toilet facilities are available and the venue is wheelchair accessible/located on the ground floor.
