Early Intervention Service


Who is the Early Intervention Service for?

Our Team supports people with a learning disability between the ages of 18-65 who live in Wolverhampton who may be presenting with mental health/challenging behaviour/physical/medical issues.

How do we help?

The Assessment and Treatment Service works with people in their own homes or if necessary can admit people to their five bed unit at Pond Lane. Service users are assisted to overcome their health/behavioural problems with the aid of the multi-disciplinary team and are encouraged to maintain their regular daily routines in a supportive, caring, safe environment.

What happens in an emergency?

The Assessment and Treatment Service has access to all necessary medical emergency services and facilities.

Any carer/professional who works with or cares for a person with a learning disability registered with a GP in Wolverhampton.
