What do students say about us?

Selam – GCSE English

“Studying has given me confidence, skills and a chance to choose a new career path. Without a doubt I will always recommend AEW, it has helped me to adapt and change my life for the better.”

Hannah Kelly – Like Minds

“Without the focus of my courses at AEW, I genuinely don’t know if I would be making the progress I am today. I would 100% recommend AEW and have done numerous times. It is a wonderful rewarding place to be. I have had a positive journey and will be sad when my learning at AEW comes to an end.”

Aman Toor - Traineeships

“The work placement was really beneficial as it gave me real life experience working as part of a team. My peers gave me direction and were always at hand if I needed help and assistance but also allowed me to use my own initiative. I now know that an administration role is definitely my choice for future employment.’

Stacey Dixon – Access to Higher Education
“The course has given me a sense of purpose, I am gaining confidence and starting to socialise and make new friends. Not too long ago I was stuck in a rut with no way out. I am proud to say that today I see myself working towards gaining the skills for a career in Social Work and showing my daughters that with hard work and determination the future looks much brighter.”

Harriet Pooler – Life Skills (learning disabilities)

“It has given me the confidence to find volunteer work, which is also helping with my independence. My parents have seen a more confident me and have stepped back a little allowing me to grow and develop…which will benefit me greatly in the future.”

Stacey Perrins - Preparing to work in Business and Administration

“I threw myself into it and loved my new learning curve so much that I decided to volunteer at a school. I discovered my strengths and my weaknesses and set about making the changes that I needed to improve my chances of finding a new career. I can honestly say that my confidence has grown and I have realised it is never too late to make a difference.“
