Next Step West Midlands

We have been established since August 2014 and have over 25 years experience. We are a non-profit Community Interest Company that offers a quality service for those who have varied levels of disabilities who are 16+.

We provide evening group sessions which alternate Tuesday's and Thursday's, buddy services, day services, residential holidays and we operate Monday to Saturday's, we also are able to offer service and support for those going through transistion.  We believe disabilities should not stop integration and disabled people should have the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers, therefore offering opportunities through social inclusion.  We give people scope to extend their knowledge, awarenes, communication, and confidence through non-formal educational activities, social and recreational activities, life skills and health and fitness.  These are chosen and supported through person centered planning and peer mentoring.  We also encouraging self-advocacy so people are able to express their wishes and views.

Buddy services are pre arranged to meet individual needs:

I can be contacted direct by parents / carers or social workers.  I do have relevant paperwork that needs to be filled in so I will either meet people at the club with parent / carers so the paper work can be completed or I am happy to carry out an home visit.
