Online Dementia Cafe

The Alzheimer's Society hold a weekly 'virtual' Dementia Cafes via Zoom, every Monday afternoon from 3.00pm - 4.00pm.

This is a friendly, informal group for anyone living with dementia and for those who care for someone diagnosed with it.

The groups meeting details are featured in the downloads section of this page.

Zoom is a free app that you can download onto a computer, laptop or tablet/ipad. Please visit the Zoom website for more information.

Once you have zoom downloaded onto your device, you simple click the link in the weekly email we send and you are taken straight to the group.

This are helpful if you find it difficult to attend the face-to-face group for any reason, or just prefer the comfort of your own sofa to going out (though some people attend both as they get different things from each one).

It can be a little bit daunting at first, but people soon get the hang of it.
We have people in their 80's taking part. The group isn't huge, so you can easily get to speak to people.

Please do get in touch with us for more information.
