Wolverhampton Legal Companions (WLC) is a collaboration between the University of Wolverhampton and the County Court sitting at Wolverhampton. Our Companions are current students, working on a voluntary basis to provide support to members of the public in their dealings with the court.
The Companions staff an information desk at the County Court sitting at Wolverhampton (within the Combined Court Centre, Pipers Row). The desk is open during advertised hours - please see this page or email for further information.
The Companions are not legally qualified, therefore they cannot provide legal advice, but they do offer an invaluable service to those who are unable to obtain the services of a solicitor or alternative legal representative.
Our service works with the support of the Local Courts and specialist students from the University of Wolverhampton.
For our opening times and availability and any further information please see our Facebook/webiste via the link on this page.
