Real Arts Workshops Ltd.

At Real Arts Workshops we provide innovative and engaging creative workshops for organisations in Wolverhampton and other areas in and around the Black Country. Some of our activities include:

  • Visual arts
  • Drawing & painting
  • 3D artwork with recycled materials
  • Cardboard sculptures
  • Themed projects for education
  • Music and song writing
  • British Sign Language teaching

We also have a large FREE resources section on our website - Real Arts Workshops Ltd.

We work with many different groups including children and young people; adults; learning and behaviour needs; autism; Deaf people; older people and more.

Our sessions break down barriers, encourage self-expression and promote self-esteem and confidence.

We cater for all sorts of people. We believe everyone can draw and that art has an important impact on people of all ages in terms of a sense of wellbeing.

We have worked with people with: additional needs, autism, transgender, low confidence, Deaf, adults, staff, young people, schools, youth clubs.

We have created high impact artworks in various settings, for example the #BigLinkUp art project for Wolverhampton City Council, with adults with severe learning disabilities and at The Way Youth Zone with young people, exploring their heritage and culture.

In November 2019 we curated the high-profile art exhibition #SupportLifeExhibition which addressed the issue of #SuicidePrevention. This showed the work of over 20 local artists including learners at HMP Oakwood.

All our sessions have BSL integrated into the learning or you can opt to have Deaf awareness and BSL basics training.

We can also offer Arts Award to under 25's, up to Silver level. This is a recognised qualification by Trinity College London which is a fantastic addition to any young person’s CV and list of transferable skills.

We can cater for some additional needs. Please get in touch to discuss.
