Young Minds

Young Minds is the UK’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. Young Minds has a 21-year track record of highly successful campaigning and in raising awareness to improve young people’s mental health and wellbeing. Young Minds does not offer advice to young people – our helpline service is for parents or carers worried about a child or young person.

Our website contains information on three unique areas:

  • For Children & Young People
  • For Parents
  • For Professionals

We also provide expert knowledge to professionals, parents and young people through our Parents' Helpline, online resources, training and development, outreach work and publications. Driven by their experiences we campaign, research and influence policy and practice.

We offer free, confidential online and telephone support, including information and advice, to any adult worried about the emotional problems, behaviour or mental health of a child or young person up to the age of 25.

More information and support can be found on our website.
