Wildside Activity Centre is a Charitable, "Not for Profit" organisation, situated in the Whitmore Reans area of Wolverhampton, occupying a position unique in its ability to offer a wide variety of Adventurous and Environmental activities.
We are based at the bottom end of Hordern Road in Whitmore Reans, on the Western side of Wolverhampton. We have a unique position situated along side the Staffs and Worcs Canal, in Smestow Valley Local Nature Reserve. Access to us is easy by foot, cycle, bus, car or boat.
Each year our canalside oasis in Wolverhampton hosts more than 7,000 visits from children, adults and families who develop their love for the outdoors through our environmental education and adventure based activities. We aim to get people outdoors for health, wellbeing and learning.
Wildside seeks to serve its immediate neighbourhood and the whole City of Wolverhampton. Our mission is to provide enjoyment of the outdoors by providing environmental, adventurous and health-giving activities.
As an Adventurous and Environmental Education Centre we provide the basis of an informal approach to learning in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our qualified and experienced staff supply the expertise to ensure that any visit is a learning, rewarding and memorable experience to individuals and groups alike. If you have the time and would like to volunteer and join the team please do get in touch with us.
