Occupational Therapy Team - City of Wolverhampton Council
The Occupational Therapy team is available to assess the needs of people living in Wolverhampton.
An assessment can be completed at our clinic based at the Neville Garratt Centre for Independent Living or, if a person is unable to travel to access the service, a member of the team can visit at home. Where possible, the team can provide aids to assist around the home or arrange for work to adapt your property.
Further assistance can be considered, depending on the situation identified. This may involve referral on to other services. Various aids and adaptations can be provided based on the outcome of an assessment. These can include but are not limited to; grab rails, walking aids, toilet frames and stair rails.

A referral is required in order to access the Occupational Therapy team. This can be a referral from a professional such as a GP or district nurse, or by way of self-assessment form.
