Adult provider services - City Links Day Opportunities

We are a local authority Day opportunities service for Adults with disabilities or living with Dementia that works with individuals to promote independence, health, wellbeing and community presence. The service gives people choice and control over how they spend their day doing a variety of activities in their local community and the wider City.

Our aim is to enable people to be part of the local and wider community whilst enabling people to take part in activities in a safe and fulfilling environment. Our service also enables carers to have a break during the day.

Day opportunities, is based at two locations in the City: -

(A4i) Action for Independence
Albert Road
Tettenhall
Wolverhampton
WV6 OAF

Neil Dougherty Centre
Masefield Road

WV10 8SA

We have changing places toilet at both venues which can be used by members of the public.

A few the activities we provide across the service are Drama, Artwork, communication skills, gardening, cooking, IT, community awareness as well as sensory awareness, relaxation and we will look to develop other activities which we feel will benefit the individual.
