Mind Verses Hypnotherapy

My name is Kuldip Mahem (Charlie Singh) and I am a qualified Mind Coach and specialist Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist.

My focus is on helping you to become the best version of yourself.  The practice is based on trust, confidentiality, empathy and honesty.  I will be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.  It is about your effort in this process which I just assist and guide towards better possibilities.

What is Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH)? 
Is a highly effective talking therapy technique and looks at the current situation and how the client is presenting their symptoms or how they are doing their problem.The therapy counts on providing healthier coping systems to address the issue. Mentally rehearsing allows the client to practice coping in the problem situation so that they may be prepared and feel calmer and confident in the future. It works on replacing old unhelpful thoughts with more positive helpful thoughts. . Although hypnosis is not a necessity of the therapy it can affect the effectiveness of the treatment.

What can Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy be used for?
CBH has conventionally been used to treat depression and anxiety disorders, but can be used for physical health conditions from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and skin conditions to pain management and Insomnia.  With the aim of changing thinking patterns; CBH helps to promote better cognitive and behaviour patterns.  A wide range of conditions can be helped using CBH, these include:

  • Public speaking
  • Lack of confidence
  • Exam nerves
  • Unwanted habits
  • Phobias

Is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for you?

Treatment doesn’t address outside problems or families which can impact on a person’s health and wellbeing. Therefore to benefit from cognitive behavioural therapy, it’s essential that you commit to the process, a therapist can advise and treat you but needs your full co-operation.
