Walking Football is designed to help people keep an active lifestyle despite their age, as well as getting those back playing football who had to stop due to injuries.
As the name suggests, Walking Football is a slower pace to the normal game. Anyone that sprints, runs or jogs while the ball is in play will be penalised with a free-kick awarded to the other team. The game is also based around minimal contact and low impact tackling.
No booking is required, people Over 50 just turn up at one of the sessions below and have a go:
Monday's - 4:00pm - 5:00pm (£2 per session)
Bert Williams Leisure Centre
Tuesdays - 5:30pm - 6:30pm (£2 per session)
