Stroke Support West Midlands

We believe a stroke isn't the end, just a new beginning, move on with people who are like you and understand.

The Stroke Support group is a weekly group where stroke survivors and their partners can come to meet, socialise and have fun. The group meets at the Action for Independence Albert Road Day Centre. Everyone is welcome to the group including partners and family of stroke survivors.

The first hour is devoted to professionally led exercise for all abilities including a mixture of seated and standing exercises followed by tea, coffee and chat.

The group also carries out a range of activities outside of the group for example a fun sports day at RAF Cosford, a day at the horse racing and group meals.

For more information please contact the group chairman or visit our website.
