The National Bereavement Partnership COVID-19 Hub provides a platform for associated practical advice services, support assistance and information to all those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our aim is to prevent and alleviate the mental impact and distress suffered by those affected by the disease, directly or indirectly. We will support callers through the journey and assist with issues associated with bereavement caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, working closely with the NHS Trusts and other relevant organisations.
Our highly skilled helpline volunteers are the face of our service, the ones on our front line delivering our service. Highly skilled professionals have come together, to help callers along their journey. Our helpline volunteers will use their counselling skills and have a listening ear for callers, they will offer information, advice and support with empathy and compassion.
Our volunteers have a deep understanding for grief, loss and the very real anxiety surrounding COVID-19. They have the background knowledge and skills to be able to offer an effective, informative and efficient service to callers. Our helpline is a secure cloud based system. Contact can be made phone, SMS, emails and chatrooms. You can also visit National Bereavement Partnership Facebook Page.
