If you are interested in craft, such as knitting, crochet or sewing, our friendly Age UK Wolverhampton Comfort Dolls group meets at:
- Tapri Coffee Shop, Mander Centre, Wolverhampton - every Friday 11am to 12.30pm
- The Workspace, All Saints Road, Wolverhampton - every Tuesday 12.30pm - 2.30pm
New members are always welcome - for a cuppa, a chat and a chance to learn new skills or practice old ones.
Comfort Dolls for people living with Dementia are also created every Tuesday and more helpers area always welcome.
The members have created many lovely knitted and crocheted items, some of which have been donated to our online Etsy Shop to raise some much needed funds. Knitted outfits for the Comfort Dolls are also made and the dolls are donated to New Cross Hospital and some local care homes.
Comfort Dolls can also be purchased by the public, a charity donation would be required. This service is free. Please contact us for further information and to check availability.
