Hibiscus Housing Association is a black led social landlord providing sheltered accommodation for people over the age of 55 years old, who are seeking companionship and neighbourly support.
This communal residency is mainly but not exclusively for African Caribbean men and women, who wish to retain some independence and have the security of knowing that help is available, should it be needed.
We encourage keeping active, therefore assistance will be given to enable tenants to attend day centres and other social establishments. Referrals can be made directly; through local authority; community groups and family and friends.
Each flat let is fitted with a pull cord alarm to alert Care-link. There is a warden who lives on site for that added security and support.
We provide domestic care services for the following social groups:
- Older People
- Adults with learning disabilities
- Adults with mental health issues and disabilities
- Adults with physical disabilities
