Wolverhampton Horticultural Society - Gardening Advice, Talks and Trips

UPDATE APRIL 2021 - ONLINE MEETINGS

Wolverhampton Horticultural Society continues to follow Government guidleines for remaining safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. As restrictions ease and over the Summer months, we anticipate being able to visit some gardens open to the public. For the remainder of 2021, we are hosting monthly online talks and meetings with guest speakers.

To widen the choice of online talks available to members in 2021, we have also connected with other garden clubs across Staffordshire and beyond.

Upcoming Wolverhampton Horticultural Society meetings include:

12 May             Nancy Stevens  “Foxtrot: 20 Years Hard Labour” (Gardening on a slope)

9 June              Howard Drury “Gardens of Northumberland and Edinburgh”

14 July             TBC Mike Hinton

11 August        Philip Aubury “Keep Them in Shape… Pruning” or “Growing for Showing”

11 September  Annual Show (Likely to be online in 2021)

13 October       Vic Aspland “A Brighter Side of Winter”

10 November   Diana Perry “Roses”

8 December     Christmas Social Evening

Talks start at 7.30pm (join the meeting from 7.15pm).

New members and visitors are always welcome. In 2021, new members can join for just £5 to include online talks throughout the year.
