Light House Media Centre is based in the historic Chubb Buildings in Wolverhampton City Centre. Light House Media Centre is the Black Country’s only independent cinema, housing two screens, 3 galleries and a café bar within the iconic Victorian architecture of The Chubb Buildings.
Light House is a charity and arts venue which aims to increase the enjoyment and understanding of technologically – based media, in particular film, video, photography and creative media and to emphasise their importance to the cultural, social and economic life of Wolverhampton, the West Midlands and further afield.
It’s a meeting place of the curious, lively, friendly minds of Wolverhampton – a place to feel at home, relax, take in a film, view exhibitions, knit or read a book with a coffee or bottle of wine – a hidden gem reflecting the best of our city and the world.
We also welcome groups to meet here as a regular, friendly venue. Lock Works is perfectly located for a meeting place, and has Wifi, projection and audio facilities. The venue can be hired for functions and social events. Staff can assist with all your needs.
